Nikola Gjorgjev is a Swiss-born Macedonian footballer, a youth exponent from Grasshopper Club Zürich. He made his Swiss Super League debut at 14 March 2015 against FC Thun. He replaced Yoric Ravet after 77 minutes. Nikola originally represented various Swiss youth football teams, U15 up till U19. However, he switched to the Macedonia national football team and made his debut for them in a friendly 3–1 win over Azerbaijan on 29 May 2016.

He is technically very good, bright on the ball, has good awareness of where people are, and is happy to track back and get in shape when he has to. He has scoring power and is not afraid for anything when he sees an opportunity to shoot at target.

Nikola is a great player, one that can play at a very high level. For a traditional club like Grasshopper he scored 21 goals and 20 assists (41 scorer points). Scoring 5 goals and 1 assist in the Europa League qualifiers. Elected best offensive player of his club for the last two seasons.
