CHARACTERISTICS

Sekou is born in Conakry, Guinea. He began playing at Horoya AC before joining Eendracht Aalst in Belgium. After a short spell he was signed by Morrocan 1st division club Difaa el Jadidi. His performances showed talent and good potential which led to a 2 years contract in summer 2020 at FC Wil 1900.

Sekou is part of the A-squad of Guinea. He made 3 appearances thus far, playing along side with Naby Keita (Liverpool) and Simon Falette (Hannover).

On average in a 90minute game he runs 11.9 km. He defends aggressively and has a winning mentality. For example they recorded in February 2020 in the match vs. Feyenord 94 sprints (the teams average that match was 70). His max speed was recently recorded at 34.8 km/h.

Family 

Very stable household with supportive parents that are from Switzerland and Turkey. His future wife recently  gave birth to their daughter Aleyna in the summer of 2020.
