CHARACTERISTICS

Through learning, hard work and determination and only 23yrs of age, he is excelled to be one of the most prolific central backs in Greece. As a starter of AEK Athens he disputed this season & with the inclusion of European Club competitions a total of 20 matches, 5 of which with the National Team.

Stratos is a central defender that always will look to hold his position position and put in those vital tackles and blocks to prevent the opponents from scoring when hi team is formed in a 4-4-2 system, but he becomes a ball-playing defender who will be composed on the ball and look to play out from the back with short or long passes when the squad is formed into a 5-3-2 system.

His speed quality is above average, and he is a “soldier” player for his coach always obeying to the directions given to him. He is co-operating excellent with the full backs and the midfielders and he performs excellent when the support in the middle field allow him to play out the ball from the defense.

Family

Born and raised in Greece, he comes from a strong and loving family that has an athletic background with his father being a professional football player and his older brother a professional basketball player.
